Week of June 16th - June 22nd, 2014

"Conquer pride by humility, wrath by love, excitement by calmness, selfishness by unselfishness, evil by good, ignorance by knowledge, and restlessness by the ineffable peace acquired in the stillness of complete silence. Find satisfaction in being humble, realizing that God is the sole Doer."

 - Paramahansa Yogananda

This Week's Services:

Please join us this Sunday, June 22 for our weekly Service Reading entitled “Seeing God as the Sole Doer". The service is from 11 am to 12 noon. Sunday School for children ages 3-12 is also held from 11 am to 12 noon. Parents with younger children may enjoy the service from the infant room located in the Sunday School building. The Reading Service is preceded by a meditation service from 10 to 10:45 am, and by group practice of the Self-Realization Fellowship Energization Exercises at 9:40 am. The Center is open to the public for services and special activities.

Weekly Affirmation:

"No one is greater than Thee, O my Father! All my powers are but borrowed powers from Thee. I would cease to live and express without Thy wisdom and strength.”

(Metaphysical Meditations)
