This Week's Services:

Please join us this Sunday, December 16 for an inspirational talk led by Brother Muktananda.   The service is from 11 am to 12 noon.  Sunday School for children ages 3-12 is also held from 11 am to 12 noon.  Parents with younger children may enjoy the service from the infant room located in the Sunday School building.  The Reading Service is preceded by a meditation service from 10 to 10:45 am, and by group practice of the Self-Realization Fellowship Energization Exercises at 9:40am The Center is open to the public for services and special activities.

• Please note there will be no Sunday School class on December 30.

• Houston Center is happy to announce it will be hosting a Toy Drive this year to help disadvantaged children this holiday season.  If you wish to participate please bring an unwrapped toy and place it in the Morgan Building.  Please consider wholesome items such as dolls, stuffed animals, art supplies, building toys, storybooks, etc.  We ask that you refrain from bringing toys and games that encourage violence.  The last day to donate toys is this Sunday December 16.  If you have any questions please contact Carol Curro at carol.curro@sbcglobal.net

• Today, Thursday, December 13, we will be having a guided meditation led by SRF Monastics in our chapel from 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm and we encourage everyone to attend this special service.


• This Friday, December 14, we will be organizing an outing with Brother Muktananda & Br. Jeff to visit the Houston Arboretum. We plan to meet at the Chapel around 9:45am on Friday and will depart sharply at 10:00am. There is no charge to enter the Arboretum.  We will have lunch at Govindas restaurant at approximately 12:30 pm after the outing. All are welcome to attend. If you have any questions about this outing, please contact Chetan Patel by emailing him at chetancpatel@hotmail.com.


• Our All-Day Christmas Meditation will be held in the chapel on Saturday, December 15 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and will be led by Brother Muktananda. Please take a moment to read the Christmas letter from Center Department as well as the all-important Christmas Meditation Guidelines to help prepare for the service. 


• We will have our annual Christmas lunch social on Sunday, December 16 after services in the Sunday School building.   This will be a catered lunch and there is no need to bring any dishes.   Please RSVP to srfhouston@gmail.com if you are planning to attend so we may have a more accurate headcount.

• There will be a New Year's Eve meditation in the chapel on Monday, December 31 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.


• Please join us this and every Sunday after the services for our weekly juice social in the Sunday School building.
