Week of May 29  - June 04, 2017

“Religion is really nothing but the merging of our individuality in universality.  Therefore in the consciousness of this blissful state we ascend the steps of religion.  We leave the noxious atmosphere of the senses and vagrant thoughts and come to a region of heavenly Bliss.”

             -Paramahansa Yogananda

This Week's Services:

Please join us this Sunday, June 04 for our weekly Service Reading entitled “Four Fundamental Ways to Realize God."  The service is from 11 am to 12 noon. Sunday School for children ages 3-12 is also held from 11 am to 12 noon. The Teen Group will also be meeting in the Morgan Building during that time.  Teens 13-18 are welcome to attend.  Parents with younger children may enjoy the service from the infant room located in the Sunday School building. The Reading Service is preceded by a meditation service from 10 to 10:45 am, and by group practice of the Self-Realization Fellowship Energization Exercises at 9:40am The Center is open to the public for services and special activities.

Weekly Affirmation:

I will seek the kingdom of God in the joy arising from constant, long, deep, continuous meditation.  I will conscientiously seek to find to find the Lord within, and will not be satisfied with the little imaginary inspirations that come from short, restless silences.

(Metaphysical Meditations)
