“The teachings of Yoga show the scientific method of uniting body, mind, and soul until all the static of physical, mental, and spiritual restlessness is driven away and we find ourselves in the Infinite.”

• Our monthly all-day meditation retreat will be held this Saturday, October 22. This month we will have an open, 12 hour non-conducted meditation from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. You are welcome to join us at any time but we ask that you sign in when you arrive and that you enter and exit the chapel quietly.

• Our next meeting of the Bhagavad Gita Study Group will be held in the chapel this Sunday, October 23 at 12:30pm. This group is open to all members and friends who wish to read and meditate upon Paramahansa Yogananda’s spiritual interpretation of the Bhagavad Gita – God Talks with Arjuna. We hope that you are able to attend.

• Guruji said that “Group Meditation is a castle that protects the new spiritual aspirants as well as the veteran meditators. Meditating together increases the degree of Self-realization of each member of the group by the law of invisible vibratory exchange of group magnetism.”  Our Center hosts group meditations every Thursday night from 7:30 to 9:30 PM and from 7:00 to 10:00 PM on the first Thursday of the month. Meditations last about 45 minutes, along with a reading and chants. Devotees may enter or leave the service quietly at any time. We hope that you are able to attend.

• Please join us this and every Sunday after the services for our weekly juice social in the Sunday School building.
