Week of June 9th - June 15th, 2014

"God is all the love of all the lovers who ever loved. If you learn the higher forms of meditation, you can have spiritual marriage, or that communion with God which is the most beautiful of all loves. Remember, no marriage can find it true purpose without man and wife first seeking God together."

 - Paramahansa Yogananda

  • We recently announced the second phase of our fundraising drive to upgrade the Audio-Visual equipment in our chapel, with a goal of reaching $8000 by Sunday, August 31. Currently we have reached a total of $3542 and would like to thank all those who have contributed so far. Second phase would include adding the Control Panel, Control Cabling & Control System, along with replacing Amps, Connectors and Interconnect Cabling. If both these phases were to be done separately, it would cost us approximately $10,400 instead of $8000 (i.e., 30% savings). If you would like to make a donation, please deposit your cash or check in an envelope in the chapel or you can even make a donation on-line through our website www.srfhouston.org. When making the donation, please indicate that it is for Audio-Visual equipment. If you have any questions about this fundraising drive, please contact a member of the Managing Team.
  • If you are planning to attend the Center Representatives Conference which will be held in the Catalina Ballroom at the Bonaventure Hotel on Saturday, August 02, from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m, please email the Managing Team (srfhouston@gmail.com) by this Sunday, June 15. Note that a donation of $30.00 per person is requested to attend this event.
  • Please note that there will be no Sunday School class on Sunday, July 06.
  • Please join us this and every Sunday after the services for our weekly juice social in the Sunday School building.
